Sometimes addiction is not a bad thing. It is true when you mention about Addiction can help people achieve their goal even better than they thought. So this is a positive sign. However, there are some bad effects that we all knew about. As i think if people knwo how to control and make themsevle a little more flexible then thing will work out. Thanks for posting

The biography of most super-achievers in the arts as well as in other fields reveals this kind of positive obsession. The downside is that most of them were so consumed with their passion for their field that they also neglected spouses and children and sometimes took advantage of friends and supporters in the interests of reaching their (often admirable) goals.
