I saw this movie to see what all the excitement was about. My opinion is that BOTH Edward & Bella are introverts. As a fellow introvert (and HSP), I think that sometimes we get "a taste of [our] own medicine" upon meeting another introvert. In my opinion, Bella "[took] personal offense" of Edward's behavior partly because she was confused. I think that even though we know the nature of our introversion, and because we live in an extraverted society, we sometimes befuddle ourselves and get confused by our/others introversion. “Bella, of course, takes personal offense, perceiving these behaviors as disgust and repulsion.”
