Anyone who's been exposed to even a small amount of traditional
spiritual teachings, particularly from the East, has heard all the ways
that the human ego gets debased and despised.

      To
most, the ego is a selfish, materialistic, stingy, controlling monster
that must be at least controlled and at best destroyed.

is ignorance and a lack of understanding of something that will never
be actualized.

Inspirational
quotes don't inspire... Inspiration and motivation comes from within.

      The
word inspiration includes the Latin spiritus literally meaning to be
"in spirit" or "filled with spirit."

      When
we are inspired, we are catapulted into a sense of heightened awareness
-- the world and opportunities expand exponentially around us.

studies of the highly successful prove that they continually achieve
their results by doing "certain things in a certain way."

Let's
put to rest the fallacy that success, in sales or any profession,
is due to luck, chance, and/or hard work. There is nothing further from
the truth.

      Think
about it, you and I both know people who work incredibly hard, putting
in long hours, they may even have two jobs, but they are not
consistently (if ever) successful.

Motivational
Speakers don't motivate... Motivation comes from within and no one can
do it to you or for you. What motivational speakers can potentially
provide is the impetus to move you into action. And action (as always)
is the key.

Turnover.
Lackluster productivity. Apathy. These are the bane of
corporate life. Savvy executives know they have to light a fire under
employees to fight such enemies of success.

      But
how about another tactic: Light a fire in your people, and stop
thinking of them solely as employees. Instead, teach them to adopt the
outlook, manner, and drive of entrepreneurs.
