Lately I’ve been hearing from women entrepreneurs how they’re struggling with what I’ve dubbed, “implementation overwhelm.” That’s when they find themselves bouncing from one idea to the next, with nothing yet fully implemented. No matter how great a gal is at juggling multiple priorities, there comes a point when she has to admit that she’s lost perspective about what’s best to focus on.

Many cultures have long-standing myths that wealth and spirituality can’t mix. But the truth is that money is not “good” or “evil” and it can’t transform you from a person of integrity into someone you’re not. But, money IS an essential part of your spiritual development and any resistance you have to it will be reflected in the kinds of results your business produces.

Of the hundreds of women entrepreneurs I’ve coached over the years, I see many of them get “taken out” of succeeding in their business by a few simple basics. The consequences can range from disappointingly low sales to settling for mediocre results to even throwing in the towel of entrepreneurship…Luckily for me, every time that part of me tried to keep me down, inside was a small, still voice that kept whispering to me that fear and doubt are never truth.

By Kendall SummerHawk.  Could one phone call change your life? What about one article submitted to the right publication, or meeting one person at an event? What if you were to get one new client this week, would that be awesome? The answer is, “yes.” In business, women are often so focused on growing, growing, growing it’s easy for them to miss out on putting into place the simple, elegant power of one.

When it comes to family you inherited more than just your looks, height or hair color. You also inherited beliefs and values about money that have been handed down for generations. Which is great if your family’s money history was free from turmoil, secrecy or difficulties. Unfortunately, what’s more likely true is that the money habits and mindset you inherited are keeping you from realizing your value and preventing you from charging what you’re worth.

Women entrepreneurs need to depend on their intuition a lot more than they normally allow themselves to. Sure, logic and reason have their place in making decisions, but these left-brain, masculine qualities will keep you playing it safe, thinking about growth in small, incremental steps and prevent you from taking the bold leaps that are often required in order to fulfill your dream and satisfy your Soul’s Divine Purpose (not to mention, stop you from making a lot more money!).

What does a hero look like for you? Is it the burly firefighter running into burning buildings to save lives, the girl with a crippling disease who somehow manages to complete her first 10k walk, or the Red Cross, helping people across the globe get the care they need? Most of us don't think of ourselves as a hero but that's where we're missing out, not seeing how, in fact, we have the opportunity every day to be a hero on behalf of our clients.

The Bold and the Beautiful isn't just the name of a daytime television show. It also describes how you must put your personality to work for you if you want to grow your business into 6 and 7 figures. Take a look at the superstars in your industry and you'll see what I mean. They aren't wall flowers when it comes to flaunting their personality's strengths or quirks. In fact, they've cleverly figured out that by shining a spotlight on their innate, organic characteristics they put their business in the spotlight...and they reap the rewards.

The idea of mixing effective marketing with soul can, for some, seem like trying to mix oil and vinegar. If your marketing is angled to get results, then isn't it too "hard sell" to be soulful; but if you lean towards giving your marketing more soul, will it actually reap results? Honestly, I think that BECAUSE you are a soul-preneur™ you're actually in a BETTER position to market in a way that is amazingly effective, powerful AND speaks from your heart.

At some point, every self-employed professional reaches the same dilemma: how to build a strong brand and grow their business without taking on too many clients, undervaluing their expertise, or sacrificing their lifestyle.
