Succeed Like Warren Buffett

by Mike Litman

I jumped on a plane Saturday and headed to Florida for a few days business trip.

One of my new 'habits' before trips is to go on Itunes and add some great success audios and even a few new songs.

If you don't have an IPOD, they're really great.

Onward.

I'm a huge fan of what Warren Buffett has accomplished. There's so much to learn about business from the 2nd richest man alive.

I purchased a few interviews of Charlie Rose interviewing Warren Buffett.

To me, Charlie Rose is one of the greatest interviewers ever.

Let me share with you something Warren said that can help you and I live a more fulfilled and prosperous life.

Warren Buffett might look at himself as an investor and/or businessman, but there's another way he sees himself as well.

"Mike, what is that way?"

Answer: As an ARTIST.

Yes, an artist.

Warren Buffett looks at the business he owns as a piece of art. Something he's always looking to add to and improve.

In his mind, his businesses are a canvas, and like an artist he looks to improve its beauty (success).

Here's an interesting point.

MANY successful people I know look at themselves as an ARTIST also.

Remember, we are creators.

Let me ask you this question.

What piece of 'art' are you creating in your life/business?

How about creating something big or small that can live on for decades?

Have you ever thought of your business as a piece of art?

Remember, we all have a life assignment.

A life assignment is a problem we are uniquely qualified to solve based on our natural strengths. We discover this 'assignment' and we turn it into a successful business.

Make sense?

Great.

My opinion is, whether we all know it or not, we're all artists. The difference is whether we create our lives on PURPOSE or not.

Warren Buffett's onto something here.

Do you know there's a PROBLEM you can solve for a group of people that would allow you to surpass all your financial goals?

Yes, detect it. Start it. Grow it. Persist.

***You*** can do it.

Your Coach,

Mike
