Jim Rohn and others on attitude
Christopher Gardner [to his son]: “You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.”
Chris Gardner [photo] was played by Will Smith in the movie based on his life and book: The Pursuit of Happyness, about his enduringly positive attitude, and perseverance in growing from a homeless person to founding his own multimillion-dollar brokerage.
See more quotes of Gardner in my post Indomitable perseverance and intention.
Jim Rohn notes how crucial it can be in his article Attitude is Everything:
“Each of us has the ability to put our unique human potential into action and to acquire a desired result. But the one thing that determines the level of our potential, that produces the intensity of our activity, and that predicts the quality of the result we receive is our attitude. Attitude determines how much of the future we are allowed to see.”
Drew Barrymore - despite a very difficult childhood - seems to have an untiringly positive attitude about life, and her work as an actor and producer:
“I don’t want to sit around and hope good things happen. I want to make them happen.” // “I love women who have fought to the change the world and made a difference. I want to be one of them myself”. [imdb.com]
According to a thesaurus, aptitude and attitude derive from the Latin aptitudo: “fitness.” Maybe actively pursuing and holding positive, emotionally healthy attitudes about our lives helps keep us fit and moving toward realizing our talents.

Your article is very much inspiring. After I watched the movie (The Pursuit of Happyness)it really bolster my confidence that it only takes positive attitude to make all our desires come into reality.
